We Found the Holy Grail of Burgers in Wappingers Falls
Partners, Jesse Camac, Amanda Baxter, and Alisha Albinder-Camac saw a void in the Wappingers Falls dining scene they knew they could fill. Out of Camac's restaurant management experience, Baxter's construction and design background, and Albinder's connection to the local agricultural community, Heritage Food + Drink was born in late 2017.
There is definteily a lot going on down Route 9. But we always find ourselves ending up at Heritage. The modernly designed exterior emerges like a beacon of light on the busy Dutchess County route. Worry not, just follow the light to 1379 Route 9 in Wappingers Falls.
Co-executive chefs, Max Renny and Frank Camey, put their spin on the classic dishes you didn't even know you were craving. Fried Chicken and Biscuits. Cast Iron Poutine. Chili Honey Glazed Pork Belly. And of course, the infamous Pig Mac-- two pork patties, shredded lettuce, pickles, "mac sauce," sesame bun, served with fries. Those golden arches have nothing on this sammie. But what we really love about Heritage's menus is there is something for everyone, from kids to vegetarians, and even your friend who's doing Whole 30.
Grab a Drink
A Heritage cocktail is no joke. And you know us, we never pass up a cocktail. The Paint It Black (featured on Heritage's drool-worthy Instagram) is dripping with white rum, cocchi americano, vanilla, and blackberries. Sit at the bar and watch a Heritage cocktail wizard (also known as a bartender) make some magic in a highball glass.
The Secret Menu
Stay in the know! Heritage is always offering up new dishes and specials. The weekend brunch menu is *fire*. We like to kick it off with $1 oysters and $8 brunch cocktails. Sunday-Thursday the $33 three course prix fixe menu is on the ticket. That menu changes weekly and the dishes are some of the most creative food coming from the Heritage kitchen. So, date at Heritage?!
